Can you make a perfume with the smell of someone you love?

--

Surprisingly yes.

A small transalpine company called Kalain has managed to develop a system to capture someone’s smell and turn it into a real perfume.

The perfume is designed to reproduce the aura of a loved one (one’s partner for example) thanks to the great evocative power of smell.

It is produced by extracting, from the unwashed clothes of the person in question, a mix of molecules which are then mixed with alcohol, to obtain the real perfume.

The company offers two types of bottles: one for happy events, the other for funerals. In both cases the price is considerable: 560 euros for each bottle.
