My guess is that he could be an INTJ, though my answer could be a little bit biased because I am one as well. But let’s get more into it.

Uncle scrooge is an intuitive person, who’s always following his instinct, his gut, and is able to look at the big picture of things, rather than focusing on the details.

He’s undoubtedly a thinking type, he cares more about the objective truth than people’s feelings and opinions in conversations, and almost always makes decisions based on logic rather than emotions.

His J trait is also very strong, for he is a very organized and strategic person, with back-up plans for everything, who wants to keep everything under control almost to a maniacal extent, which I can easily relate to.

I almost thought he was an extrovert, because he can be a convincing, generally good speaker that can deal with any person and change their mind, and doesn’t seem to exhaust around people. But I eventually identified him as an introvert since he doesn’t generally do well with people and is able to stay completely alone for a great amount of time, like when he was a miner in Klondike. In some old stories, he is even portrayed as a misanthrope, neglecting almost any form of human interaction, even from his family on the Christmas’ eve.

Overall he’s stubborn, has a bad temper, is great at what he does best and knows it, he is visionary, intelligent, knowledgeable, hard-working, authoritative, cynical and cold on the outside. Despite all of that he is a ball of emotions on the inside, he cares deeply for those he loves and is extremely loyal to them, even though he doesn’t like to demonstrate it and pretends to be a rude person. He has done and behaved terribly bad in his life, but he is a good person deep down, who greatly values honesty and justice, other than being more nostalgic and profound than he lets on.

It could be my predilection for this character, or for my personal type, or just my incomplete knowledge of mbti types, but I can easily relate to all of the above and personally think that he is an INTJ.
