How the Black Widow movie could have been better

There are several things that could have been done differently.

The first one (and probably the most necessary) is to totally change the character behind TaskMaster, who comes out pretty flat in the movie, making him more like the comic version. And a little longer final battle against Black Widow would have helped too.

The movie could have given more weight to Black Widow’s origins, and not just her childhood. They could finally show on screen how Natasha and Clint met in Budapest, and how Clint, initially sent to kill her, decided to have her recruited by Shield instead.

It would almost serve as an origin story for both characters, and it has been mentioned so many times that it deserves to be shown.

There were also rumors that Tony Stark would have appeared briefly, thanks to unused footage from Civil War, but they ultimately decided not to include that in the movie.
