The 3D printed motorcycle of the future

--

The Light Rider is a 3D printed motorcycle made with aluminum powder and lasers.

It is built with a material called “Scalmalloy”, with the same strength of titanium and which can be 3D treated and printed, with a low expenditure of resources.

The entire vehicle weighs 35 kilos, and has an electric motor powered by lithium-ion batteries. It goes from 0 to 80 km/h in just over 3 seconds and has a range of 60 km.

The cost is still quite prohibitive though: around 50,000 euros.
