The biggest change that future buildings may undergo
I believe that the use of aquatic buildings will spread widely, some able to float above the water, others anchored to the seabed.
At first they could be a luxury for a few rich people, and will be available to ordinary people not as a home, but as luxury hotels.
1. The city of Meriens
Its design is inspired by the shape of manta rays, and it will be able to support itself thanks to clean and renewable energies.
It could become the semi-stable residence of over 7000 people, including professors, students and marine researchers.
It also has an internal lake and an underwater “skyscraper”.
2. The floating seahorse
The Floating Seahorse is a project that involves the construction of floating villas. This project is part of the larger “The Heart of Europe” part of the even larger “The World”, an artificial archipelago off the coast of Dubai.
