What can now be shared about the Coronavirus?

This image is the COVID19 RNA sequence. Each color indicates a different nitrogen base: purple for adenine, red for guanine, orange for thymine, and yellow for cytosine.

These 8 kilobytes of data are responsible for everything: they caused a pandemic, forced parts of the world’s population into their homes for months, smashed the economy, reduced greenhouse emissions for a while, and killed over 320,000 people.

The coronavirus is a perfect example of the butterfly effect: from a heap of genetic information equivalent to the weight of the lyrics of half a dozen songs, to unpredictable and chaotic circumstances globally.
